A. Absolutely. Our unique Smart Scheduler allows you to set exactly how many repositories you want pulled on a daily basis (e.g. 5 on Monday, 0 on Tuesday, 10 on Friday). You can configure a limit of up to 20 pulls per day.
A. Instead of overwhelming your GitHub profile by pushing all repositories at exactly the same time, our Smart Dispatcher evenly distributes your requested pulls across a 24-hour window. This makes your contribution activity look natural and consistent.
A. You have complete control over your account. From the Preferences page, you can click the 'Disconnect' button at any time. This instantly wipes your GitHub OAuth tokens from our servers and completely pauses all automated pulls until you choose to reconnect.
A. No. Repo Dive exclusively uses the official GitHub REST API to search for and download high-quality, open-source, public repositories that match your specific interests (like language, topics, and star count).
A. Repo Dive acts as a true automation bot on your behalf. We need permission to read public repositories and create a private archive repository on your account where we can commit the code. We do not store your password, only a secure OAuth token.
